A Day To Play

A Day To Play Foundation is a charity supported by National Happiness Day.

Here's a little bit about what we do...
Many people in this country have overcome major difficulties, traumas or circumstances and by doing so become an inspiration to the rest of us.

‘A Day To Play’ Foundation’s aim is to take these people and those who are still working through their challenges and give them one day of fun doing whatever makes them happy. A day for them to just play and leave their troubles behind them in the hope that this helps them overcome their particular difficulty and by doing so go on to be an inspiration to others.

What we do

Every year we aim to provide a day of play to as many families and/or individuals as possible depending on the funds and resources we have available.

You can get involved by:

  • Making a pledge.
  • Nominating a family or someone you think is a deserving benefactor - email us with details.
  • Create your own fund raising event – details coming soon.

How we do it

Fundraising events will be occurring throughout the year locally as well as nationally, supported by the National Happiness Day campaign. Additionally we rely on the generosity of our corporate partners and the British public making donations.

We fully expect benefactor applications to exceed the amount of money we manage to raise so we will assess each one carefully to ensure that the recipients of our funding will be those in real need. Additionally we aim to ensure fair distribution of funding throughout the UK.
